It belongs to the Willow Tree collection of sculptures made by artist Susan Lordi.
This statue is made of resin with wings in metal and handpainted with wood effect color. It lacks facial expression, precisely because every feeling is expressed through body gestures. It depicts an angel embracing and holding a child close to his chest.
All statues are carved and finely painted by hand.
