Nativity in Plaster 15 cm

Barsanti Nativity in plaster 15 cm. This lovely vintage nativity scene consists of 5 figurines:  Saint Joseph, Mary, Baby Jesus with Crib, ox and donkey. The statues are entirely made of plaster and are finely handpainted with patina finish. 

All statues are made by the Italian firm Barsanti, which was founded in 1900 by Carmelo Barsanti, who opened a workshop specializing in plaster statues dedicated to sacred art and nativity scenes.
